Today is National Jersey Day. We held a special team meeting today in acknowledgement. Everyone was encouraged to wear their favourite jersey to work and were grateful they attended to hear so much about Jersey Day.
"I am so happy that A B Equipment was able to back Jersey Day today. I had not heard about Jersey Day previously, but it has been around since 2015 to raise awareness regarding the Organ and Tissue Authority and the DONATE LIFE network. This year this day has personal significance for me. My gorgeous friend Cath suffered an aneurysm just over four weeks ago. Family and friends were all shocked by her sudden passing. A few days after her passing, we were all made aware she had donated her vital organs to others. This information has made the healing process more comfortable to deal with for her family and friends, knowing that she was able to help so many others," Maria said.
